Matt Hollander is the managing principal of Hollander Development and has been responsible for the construction and rehabilitation of more than five hundred homes. He is a second generation affordable housing developer, award-winning sustainability leader, and relentless problem solver. Matt takes pride in delivering complex projects that others believe can’t be done.
Joseph Hollander

Joe Hollander, an attorney, founded HDC in 1979 after serving as Deputy Director of Operations at the Michigan State Housing Development Authority. With nearly fifty years of experience in the affordable housing industry, he has been instrumental in the development of over 4,000 homes spread across 40+ multifamily communities.
Jason Muniz, MBA
Vice President
Jason ensures that HDC’s communities continue to be places everyone would want to call home. A seasoned property manager and financial analyst, he leads asset management, coordinates due diligence, and is the primary point of contact for HDC’s debt and equity partners. Jason holds an M.B.A. from Western Michigan University and is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Tammi Tarantino
Office Manager
Tammi manages HDC’s internal systems and has a background in property management, commercial loan services, and supportive housing. She provides support during all phases of development and is the primary contact for general inquiries, account services, and file requests.
